The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected public access to mental health services – particularly vulnerable populations. Australians in rural and remote areas, Indigenous Australians, children, and young people experiencing stress, anxiety affecting their mental health are less likely to seek support from clinical and non-clinical mental health services and also face additional barriers to accessing mental health support. CSI has comprised a fact sheet as a constructed response to the emerging mental health crisis facing Australia in the wake of COVID-19.
