Yvette is passionate about supporting leaders and teams in the non-profit sector to find their ‘inner strength’ and sense of purpose to improve wellbeing and fulfilment.
As a social researcher, Yvette was witness to so much suffering working across a diverse range of populations and communities, reporting back to Govt departments e.g., Dept. of Health and Public Health England on ways to reduce harm and suffering in the community through interventions. Prompted by this, in 2015 Yvette changed careers and trained in positive psychology coaching, mindfulness and became an accredited Strengths profiler and EQ assessor.
In 2018 she trained in the US as a Mindful Self-Compassion teacher and started a Master’s in Education at Aberdeen University in Mindfulness and Neuroscience and became a fully accredited mindfulness teacher in 2019.
Yvette brings together this knowledge and experience with over 20 years corporate life where she experienced first-hand the challenges and joys of being a leader in sometimes stressful and at times misaligned cultures.
