Studies show that emotions have a significant impact on how we show up as leaders, and also how our peers and teams respond, perform tasks, and remain engaged, focussed and adaptable.
Emotions always influence the way we think, and therefore the way that we act. Positive emotions are consistently associated with better performance, quality and customer service results. Negative emotions are equally valid, but with agility in how we identify, and where necessary, regulate those, is what makes all the difference. How your people think and behave forms the ‘emotional culture’ of your organisation.
In this interactive and engaging workshop, run by our Lead Chair and positive psychology practioner Leanne Warner, you will have a chance as a leader to do some hands-on investigation into what feelings will create success, and what behaviours can steer your organisation positively, or in the alternate direction. You can choose how you would like to lead and what emotions will serve you best and how to regulate emotion to achieve optimal outcomes for yourself and your people.
This is invaluable work to inform your strategy and give you real insight to keep you focussed through to the end year, and to help you to set up the parameters for a really successful 2024.
